Man’O’War and SNJ “290” were at the 2017 California Capital Airshow on September 9 and 10.

Although our primary task was to offer the public warbird rides aboard these aircraft, Man’O’War was asked to stand in for another P51 which failed to appear for a  scheduled act.

It serves as a testament to CAFSoCal’s professionalism, as well as all our pilots’ skill that Jason Somes was able to run the expected routine with little notice, to the thrill of the crowds.

We look forward to returning to the CCA in 2018 – hopefully, it will be a little cooler than it was this year, and maybe we’ll bring up more of our warbirds for the show.

On October 14th you will have the opportunity to fulfill one of those “bucket list” items.

Our P-51 will be available for rides on Saturday the 14th.

Effective October 1, 2017 our ride prices will increase at Camarillo.  This will be our 1st increase in 3 years.  The new pricing will be as follows:

P-51 Mustang   $1695 for 20 minutes

SNJ   $495 for 20 minutes

PT-19   $295 for 20 minutes

PBJ    Pricing will remain the same for the moment.

Certificates purchased before the price increase can be used anytime, they do not expire.

The PBJ and crew put in another great airshow appearance, this time at the 2017 Skyfair in Everett Washington, at the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum.

The aircraft performed flawlessly for the 5 hour flight from Camarillo to Everett – a testament to the skill and hard work put in by the PBJ crew.  And the same crew set to the task of cleaning and presenting the PBJ to the public. The PBJ looked great on the ramp, next to the FHCAM B25 and Mosquito as well as visiting Corsairs, Hellcat, Bearcat to name a few.

We are pleased to announce that the PBJ will be flying up to Everett, Washington on July 20th through 23rd to participate in the Flying Heritage Museum’s annual Skyfair airshow where the aircraft will be made available for rides as the airshow schedule permits.
